NAL, Summer 2010 Catalog

Okay, so some people have given up on J. R. Ward. Some of their blog posts actually steered me away from even trying the series but I am glad that this year I actually went and read them. Because guess what? They may not be someone's cup of tea but I read through them crazy fast. Yes, I didn't like having to figure out some shortened words but overall I love them! I put the boxed set on my Christmas list ... so hopefully I am getting it :) (Hence why I chose this for my first Waiting on Wednesday).

I am really excited for this book especially compared to some others in the series. My favorite character is Blay and I am wanting to read his POV so bad. I want him to get his HEA and in this one he gets more screen time. I also want him with Qhuinn but I know this one has some problems with them :( yet, I am still excited. Am I a masochist or what? It may not look like I am anticipating the main characters love story but I totally am (I just love Blay more). I have enjoyed John's story arc, he may have lost some points with me in Lover Avenged but I do want to see him happy. I love Xhex, probably more than John thus I am definitely going to enjoy this novel. Please be April soon ♥

Christmas/New Year Holiday Plans

So this year, for the holiday I decided to read through Richelle Mead's work. Part of that is because she is an awesome author and the bigger part is I won an ARC of Succubus Shadows. I was so happy! I entered her lolcats contest and won runner-up which I was totally fine with because I have all of her novels anyway. So, YAY again.

My plan is as follows:

  1. Vampire Academy - DONE
  2. Frostbite - DONE
  3. Shadow Kiss - DONE
  4. Blood Promise - DONE
  5. Storm Born - DONE Dec 23
  6. Thorn Queen - DONE Dec 30
  7. Succubus Blues - DONE Jan 3
  8. Succubus on Top - DONE Jan 8
  9. City of Demons - Eternal Lover - DONE Jan 9
  10. Succubus Dreams - DONE Jan 14
  11. Succubus Heat - DONE

I am hoping to have this done for the new year because she said the ARCs should be complete in January. By reading the Succubus series last I should be good to read it. But I am so excited! I spent my whole Sunday and part of Saturday evening on my entry and it was so worth it. I'm such a fangirl :)
